this is a very simple tutorial on the basics of indesign. i think overall, using indesign's tools will be easy. especially after getting the hang somewhat of other adobe products and having used microsoft word in the past, it will just take some time to get used to it.
i think this tutorial is interesting since i have created tri-fold packets in microsoft word or google docs before. honestly, i feel like in-design is kind of like word but better. it can more specifically make the layout i might want to make, and has tools that make having a coherent theme easy.
i chose this video because making a portfolio is something we will be doing in this class. being able to see different portfolio designs being designed was very helpful. this both gave me inspiration for my own, as well as some of the tools to help make it. although seeing all the possible options is kind of overwhelming.
